The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of our procurement and analytics solutions to mid-sized and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and data analytics, with the ability to communicate the value of our solutions in transforming business operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify client needs, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the procurement and analytics space.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, guiding prospects through the sales cycle to close.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and align them with Sagelens’ solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that showcase our value in procurement and analytics.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor by staying informed about industry trends, challenges, and best practices in procurement and data analytics.
- Manage client accounts to ensure satisfaction, uncover expansion opportunities, and drive renewals.
- Market Insights and Strategy:
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide market insights that inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on competitive offerings and industry trends to position Sagelens effectively in the market.
- Contribute to strategic planning by identifying new target markets, segments, and value propositions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop targeted sales materials, case studies, and client success stories.
- Collaborate with the customer support and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of solutions.
- Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client needs and potential product improvements.
- Reporting and Forecasting:
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Use CRM tools to maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales progress.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or data analytics solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Experience selling to mid-sized and enterprise clients with an understanding of complex sales cycles.
